Hi! Generally, we think of transforming a poetic as doing something new and different with it. The "if so, what?" part is totally up to you and limited only to your imagination. Here are some examples (though you are in no way constrained to these):

  • Something like this, combining bits of podfics together to create found poetry, or a new story

  • Creating some kind of fanmix/podfic mash-up ala The Point or Orlando Jones's Mixtape Story, where you would listen to the story (or pieces of the story, or just the dialog of a story or.... or.... or....) interspersed with full songs, so that you get a album-story.

  • Record a fic remix of a fic that's been podficced and twine the two together so that the podfics of the fic and the remix meld together into one piece

  • Straight up combine two totally different podfics to create a new story.

  • Record a new version of a fic that's already been podficced and use the audio from the first to create a multi-voice version of the podfic (however it may be... e.g. use the dialog from one and the prose from the other, or alternate readings for different story parts, or... something).

  • Make a vid that uses the audio from the podfic.

  • Taking a more conventional podfic and turning it into a radio-style play podfic.
  • Writing a new fic and interspersing pieces of a podfic into the prose to further the story.

  • Create a slide-show or picspam or fanart type thing using a podfic as narration, interspersed with the images. It could be the whole podfic or pieces of the podfic, or pieces of multiple podfics

  • Create a rec list using bits of exclamations from podfics to express your feelings for you.
