I've taken this text almost exactly from the last round of podfic_bingo, since paraka did an excellent job expressing how this post works.

Now that the cards have started rolling out, the questions have started rolling in.

You might be thinking, "Do you consider a selkie a human?" or "Does Gamora count as a 'character of color'?" We purposefully don't have a list of definitions to go with our prompts so that the prompts can remain to interpretation. People can be so creative in how they interpret things and we want to encourage that.

However, if you find yourself looking at a square and have no idea what it means/what to do with it, leave a comment and we can let you know the original intent behind that prompt.

Reminder: Once you get your card, you can start posting podfics right away. :D

I have a question: for my "2+ Hours" square, does the podfic have to be over 2 hours long? Or can I use that squre for a podfic project that takes me over two hours to post?

....because I have a podfic anthology I'm working on, and I'm really dreading the posting process.

I don't think editing counts? If the anthology itself turns out to be more than 2 hours long, you're good. :)

I have another question: what's the difference between "Incorporate Verbal Effect" and "Lower/Higher Pitch Effect"? Isn't altering my pitch in post-production already a verbal effect... since I'm talking?

Again, I'm going to say that's a bit too loose of a definition. Verbat effects should be added to your speech, but can be whatever you want (speed up, slow down, distortions, etc). Higher and lower pitches need to be more significant than just talking and can be added to anything: music, sound effects, random background noise, whatever.
