I listened to this today to help get me through spreadsheet work. As always, you read it beautifully, and I really enjoyed the rather precise diction you used which seemed very appropriate to the time period. I found the story to be rather unexpectedly sad and it left me pensive. I have a lot of complicated feelings about Aaron Burr (the character, not the historical figure) and this podfic stirred up ALL of them, as good stories do. I'm pleased to have been able to hear it :)

I HAVE SO MANY BURR FEELS! Like, he's totally the adversary and NOT a good person (what with the whole killing in a duel thing). But the musical gives so much humanity to him that my feels go quite cattywampus when he's mentioned. I have a LOT of Angelica feels too (though they are less complicated. Basically, I just think she's awesome). ♥
