I've still not read Check Please, but I listened to this as I was walking to the light rail today, and it didn't matter at all. My heart still exploded into happy feels. ♥

Honestly, with Shitty and Lardo the fact that those are the names they choose to go by (no one even knows Shitty's actual given name) tells you so much about them already, and avioletqueen does a good job with their b/romance. I completely believe it stands alone, given all that.
